What a night! 🌟 Thank you to everyone who came out to support Education Night at the 75th Annual Hopkinsville Rotary Auction! It’s always one of our favorite evenings as we welcome local students to present their donations. This year, the Hopkinsville Rotary Club introduced a $1,000 grant for the school that raised the most per capita, and our schools stepped up in a big way! 📚✏️ 🍎 Here’s the breakdown: - Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School raised $1,400 ($8.48/student) - Heritage Christian Academy raised $3,384.24 ($6.23/student) - University Heights Academy raised $4,500 ($10.56/student) - Christian County Public Schools raised a combined $22,671.66 ($2.76/student), despite facing snow days and even a historic flood!Together, these incredible schools raised a grand total of $31,955.90! And the winner of the $1,000 Hopkinsville Rotary grant for highest per capita giving? Peter & Paul Catholic School’s Interact Club as a match for their Divine Drops Water Project in Nigeria to continue to make improvements for the students there. This inspiring project aligns perfectly with Rotary’s mission of service above self and making a global impact.
